Why

The VISIT Collective?

The name VISIT comes from 1000 VISITS, a professional growth model we designed to transform how people learn and improve—through purposeful connection, curiosity, and trust.

A visit isn’t about judgment or evaluation. It’s about showing up, observing, reflecting, and building something better—together.

VISIT stays at the heart of our name because that spirit of curiosity and connection drives everything we do.

We added Collective because we believe the best work happens in partnership. Growth takes root when people connect with purpose, build trust, and take meaningful action.

The Founders

Tara Eppinger

Tara is a dynamic leader and systems thinker who thrives at the intersection of people, purpose, and process. With a background in the sciences and over a decade of leadership experience, she has a track record of fostering cultures of growth, curiosity, and reflection.

Tara earned her B.S. from Duke University and her M.A. from Wake Forest University. She designs experiences and structures that help educators lead from within — whether they’re in the classroom, on a team, or shaping school wide change. She is skilled at facilitating honest conversations, building psychological safety, and turning abstract values into concrete practice.

At The VISIT Collective, Tara brings clarity, empathy, and strategic vision to every partnership. Her work helps teams not just adapt to change, but lead it — with confidence and coherence.

Outside The VISIT Collective, Tara enjoys diving into historical fiction—especially novels that center on women who lead, persist, and make their mark. She loves vacationing at the beach and the mountains, and is an avid long distance runner.
